NAMCA is not a
registered nonprofit organization, we do not
possess a Charity Registration Number and therefore are not authorized
to issue any Official Tax Receipts. Our primary purpose is to
educate the public and offer guidance and assistance to those who need
it. We work with policing agencies by passing on important
information that will assist in locating missing individuals. OUR GOALS To notify national and local police agencies and to assist where possible.
ELECTRONIC SERVICES Our website, http://www.namca.com, was awarded a Three Star Distinction by the McKinley Group and was the first on-line missing children’s website in Canada. NAMCA’s website gives missing children instant global exposure and we have recorded over ten thousand hits in the last year alone. A number of our brochures list emergency telephone numbers for shelters and help lines. TOLL FREE LINE Our toll free tip line was established in 1995 and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We welcome any tips or sightings on any of our cases; the only tip we believe to be unwarranted is one that is not reported. We immediately report any tips or sightings to the investigating police agency for further investigation. All calls are confidential.
